Ask your child to imitate the facial expression as on the card.

3

Teach your child to express his/her feelings.
Pick up a card - HAPPY/SAD - ask your child to express the feeling.
You could say ”I feel happy when I see flowers” ask your child to enact by expressing the ’happy’ feeling or ”I feel Sad when I see people throw stones at a dog”
ask your child to enact by expressing the sad feelings.

4

It is very important that your child learns to express his/her feelings verbally instead of lashing out his/her feelings physically by biting, grabbing, hitting or throwing things.
