So let your child explore and learn about the parts of a flower.

  • Real flowers
  • Tweezers
  • Magnifying glasses

Steps

Show your child the parts of a flower with the help of the picture card and let your child know the names of the parts of a flower.

Set out some real flowers, tweezers, magnifying glasses, and construction sheets.

Let your child pluck the petals using tweezers.

Let your child explore the flowers using the magnifying glasses.

Let him/her spread the petals on the construction sheet and examine the petals through their magnifying glasses.

Ask him/her to count petals of a few flowers and write down the numbers.

7

Finally, use the parts of the flowers to make a collage.
